Do not use a hammer—impact tools can damage the stamp. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform beneath the anvil. Set the stamp on top of the leather with a flat plate or block above it. Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check the result and repeat for deeper impressions. Vise Instructions Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Secure the setup in a vise, tightening firmly for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect depth, and repeat as necessary. Best Results: Casing Leather Evenly moisten the leather with a damp sponge before pressing to prevent water spots and ensure consistent impressions. A scrap of leather or pressing pad on top helps spread pressure evenly for the cleanest results. Cleaning & Care Clean the stamp face after each use by rinsing or lightly scrubbing it, then dry thoroughly. Avoid using hammers or striking tools to preserve the fine engraved detail.
