Do not strike with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased leather on a sturdy platform beneath the anvil. Set the stamp on the leather and a flat plate or block on top. Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds; check and repeat for more depth. Vise Instructions Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Secure the stack, place it in the vise, and tighten for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect the impression, and repeat as needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire surface with a sponge for even casing and to prevent water spots. A thick scrap of leather on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure. Cleaning & Care Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after use and dry before storing. Avoid impact tools to protect fine detail.
